WHO ARE WE?
The Center for Research and Studies on the Mashreq and the Maghreb (CRSMM) is a non-profit research and educational organization registered under Japanese Laws. CRSMM principal office is in Minato- Ku, Tokyo.
As a research center, CRSMM is commited to research for development, information for development and education for development.
To put it simply, we are like a small newspaper or magazine, collecting news about the Arab World and the Sahel, prioritizing it, corelating it, and making sense of it before deciding on the next step: How can we be of help to the region within the means available to us? What sort of projects take priority and precedence? Where can we get the necessary funding and sponsorship for our programs?
Our Center, CRSMM, is committed to sponsoring a broad public dialogue about different issues related to the areas under our coverage.
We are also committed to contributing to our community through our Community Outreach programs and welcome sollicitations by Communities, Schools, Universities, and other Civil society groups to talk about different Issues related to the Arab world, and The Sahel. (Read More)
